Cheer ChainsCheer chains are acts of kindness where a person pays for the person next in line, who then pays for the next person forming a chain of kindness. For example, a person purchases a cup of coffee and then decides to do a random act of kindness and buys the cup of coffee for the person behind him which starts off the cheer chain. The next person gets ready to pay to find that the person in front of him has already paid for his coffee, so he decided to pay for the person behind him. The more people that pay for the next person behind them, the longer the cheer chain becomes.
The cheer chain is not limited to coffee. It can happen at the doughnut shop, the grocery store, the hairdresser or at any other establishment where payments are made.
Cheer chains often appear during the holidays as people want to further the holiday spirit, but are not limited to that time of the year. Cheer chains can be started any day at any time.
